Community Vegetable Garden

One of FoDRP’s main projects is the Community Vegetable Garden.

We started creating our garden on Sunday 6th May 2012 after a long time planning, preparing and getting all the necessary agreements from Brighton & Hove City Council and funding in place from Harvest.

Our first job was laying mypex and bark and marking out the growing area in the centre. Then we planted the vegetables and herbs, and are now beginning to enjoy the fruits of our labours.

We have been holding Monthly Munch picnic get-togethers. Everyone is welcome to come along and join us.

Watch the main blog for more information on the next stages of the garden. If you’d like to get involved please contact Alison on 07852 224937.
