The community compost scheme is in The Argus

At our monthly munch on Saturday a journalist came down to talk to us about the scheme.  It’s pretty simple: local residents join the scheme, get given a caddy, then they bring their scraps and paper to the compost bins in the garden (the wooden chests).  We compost it.  Then use it on the garden and give it back to residents.

Despite having been running for just under 2 months, we are almost the biggest scheme in Brighton and Hove.  Congratulations and many thanks to all involved.

They are kept padlocked so that only people who have joined the scheme and received information about what to put in can use them.  But anyone can join.  To join either email Abi on: abi “at” nutritionforchange.com

or phone Alison on: 07852 224 937
